Overview
This is a single player driving game based in a stylized world with paper aesthetics inspired by origami and papercraft. I want to achieve an artstyle that inspires players and keeps them engaged. I have made the map and the mechanics for this game and it’s a work in progress. The projected release date for this game is December of 2026.
Current Tasks
- Visual development of an 'origami-inspired' art style for vehicles and environment.
- Modeling low-poly cars with sharp, paper-like creases and folds.
- Custom shader development to achieve high-contrast colors and paper outlines.
- Implementing arcade-style driving physics that feel light and 'snappy' like paper.
- Designing a modular pipeline that allows for rapid expansion and testing.
Every tree, building, and road in the game is designed as if it could be physically constructed from paper. This constraint encourages creative solutions in low-poly modeling and keeps the visual language unified throughout the game world.
Extras
A playable demo is planned for release on Steam in late 2026, alongside papercraft templates for the game's cars.
